Now a favourite author/illustrator, this inspire fourth Kohara title, and he never disappoints.
Again, a two-colour palette is beautifully used to convey the scene and season.
A boy bored of winter meets Jack Frost and their friendship shows him the joys I the season. Eventually though, spring must come.
We read this in spring but I'll be borrowing a library copy again come November for my son.
Kohara is a wonderful illustrator and the stories are always easy to read but promote discussion.
Definitely one for re-reading. And an author to look out for.
