This review is from: Diana in Private: The Princess Nobody Knows (Hardcover)
As a reader of any book on the British Royal Family that I can get my hands on, I have to say that Lady Colin Cambell seems as bored with the royal family as she is with her life. I've never made it through this book because I fall asleep - no matter what the time of day - more quickly than I can get through a chapter. The book - as much as I've gotten through - is basically how she is more royal than Diana and how she knows how to handly herself in the royal circle as does Prince Charles. It strikes me as another Penny Junor unbalanced account of the Charles and Diana saga. I guess if your looking for a story about how terribly important it is to supress emotions and play act your life for further proof of what Diana had trouble enduring this might be a book worth your time and money.
