This is such a useful and fascinating meditation on Christ in prophecy, providing a wealth of biblical study in a clear and accessible format.

The author, in his thirteen pages of the introduction, starts with the premise that'...because of His omniscience, God alone can foreknow and foretell the future and that He chose to confine His foretelling to the pages of His prophetic Word.' (p9) Indeed, as the prophecies unfold, their absolute accuracy is apparent.

'All the Messianic Prophecies of the Bible' is divided into two sections. The first section, comprising eleven chapters, looks at specific Messianic prophecies: from prophecies of the Lord's pre-existence to prophecies of His Second Coming.

The second section, within its seven chapters, is an exposition on symbolic Messianic prophecies and includes prophetic gleans from historical events, from religious rituals and prophetic foregleams from Christ's own teaching.

A wonderful Godly source of reference to explore and enhance your study of the Bible: "...the Heaven-drawn picture of Christ the Living Word." p25

A wide covering study of Messianic fulfillment from both the Old Testament and the New Testament which is very interesting.

I was really disappointed with this book as a student in ancient Hebrew it took me about 1hour to realise that all the alleged prophecy accounts the author claims are Greek mistranslations there is not one accurate Hebrew account that refers to the christian interpretation found in the gospels with not a single mention of a second coming not one I really really really wish these Christian authors wold do there homework instead of trying to use false proven false documents to justify a belief system that is based on lies made up between 300-600 years after the hanging yes hanging of Yoshua Ben Yoseph ( Jesus ).

Unfortunately most of these "Prophecies" like all the ones in Isaiah 53 don't refer to Jesus but refer to the Nation of Israel. just because they sound like they are written about Jesus does not make them so. Herbert should have checked who the Bible is talking about before including them. Most sound like Jesus but aren't. I would not have expected that I would need to check them out myself. These false "Prophecies" will now spread like wild fire having been given his authority. Please check them yourself before using them.
