This review is from: En la Boca del Lobo: La Historia Jamas Contada del Hombre Que Hizo Caer al Cartel de Cali = In the Mouth of the Wolf (Vintage Espanol) (Paperback)
This book was a disappointment. As my title says this book appeared to be just that. All the information contained in this book can easily be accessed in other places. To be fair to the 'author' he does list a very long list of publications as his source of reference. His only oringinal input appears to be based in a few telephone calls he had with Jorge Salcedo the main character. There are many more interesting books of this type. I think the author has jumped on the "Cartel de Cali" bandwaggon, and this publication is well below the standard of many others I have read. Given that the main character was a police informant, perhaps a more suitable title would be "Desde la boca del sapo".
