This review is from: Anglomania: Tradition and Transgression in British Fashion (Metropolitan Museum of Art Publications) (Hardcover)
I was more interested in the photographs of the Anglomania fashion, rather than text. This did not disappoint. The text clear but brief. The photos are of an exhibition, but so beautifully set out, in context, that the absence of live models is the only thing which separates them from a fashion shoot. The photos vary between close up details of the clothing and wider views of the models within the setting.
For me the only thing it lacked was more information on the designers who use this theme of fashion and how they present their designs in a contemporary context.
