Gary Player is known to be a excercise maniac. In this book he describes his program and illustrates 100 or so individual excercises. I found it almost too general and not specific to excercises designed to improve "golf" skills. Do you really need Gary Player to demonstrate the "push up"?
If one followed Mr. Player's program you would be fit for golf, life or just about anything else.

Gary Player was/is a fitness pioneer in golfing terms. He raised the bar way back in the 50's and 60's but not many golfers followed suit. Only nowadays are some golfers taking on the benefits of fitness. This book is perfect to improve your fitness in respect to golf performance and is highly recommended.

At <£1 the paperback is great value and vgc. Contents look plausibly good; time will tell regarding effectiveness. There's the odd proofing error and one or two descriptions not clear. Also a diagram of the muscles referred to would have been useful, but they are very minor comments.
