This review is from: Aristocrats - The Illustrated Companion to the Television Series (Hardcover)
This is a first-class book, which gives a wide-angled view of the background of the beautiful tv production of ARISTOCRATS. Combining sound research, erudition and a wide variety of information, the book succeeds on every front. It includes much to interest those readers who have wondered at how the effects are achieved in the elaborate costume dramas one sees on the tv screens. Beautifully printed on good quality paper with full-colour illustrations and with the text representing a great deal of sound research, it is a good investment for anyone interested in real-life drama, costume and British history in the mid-1800s. Highly recommended.
