4.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive short story anthology.
Dolley has chosen a selection of predominantly twentieth century writers of short stories, ranging from H G Wells to Aldous Huxley. Whilst many of these authors are better known for their novels, these short stories are an interesting and accessible way of enjoying their work. Among the most interesting is Virginia Woolf's modernist evocation of Kew Gardens.
