This is a fantastic book. As a parent of a four year old and a 4 month old it really made me appreciate that every child is an individual, that there is no right and wrong in parenting style (ie bedtime routines and feeding routines) and that you need to go with the flow, trust yourself and make every individual step work for you.

Really fascinating and an easy read. Great to learn about parenting practices from around the world and put your own experiences into a global context that isn't just about designer buggies and the latest trends but on how real life parenting can be.

Interesting insight into how different cultures raise their children. For those mummy's constantly asking themselves if they're raising their children right it makes you realise there are no right or wrong answers just different ways of doing things!

Bought for my wife who is "in the business" and she ranks it highly and has recommended it to some of her colleagues.

Not that well written. Some good ideas for those struggling with young kids. Personally, I was brought up with no meal times, bath nights or bedtimes etc so personally favoured a more structured approach to parenting myself.
