A small book that should be one everybody's reading list. Of Mice and Men is an absolute classic and will be for a long time to come. The characters of George and Lennie have been echoed a thousand times over by countless other writers and it is a story of hard work, will and character itself, binded together in a great tragedy of friendship. One of my favourite books since reading at school and will be sure to be picked up again and again and again.

Although there were useful questions at the back, the book is not told in it's original form, which may make it hard for those using this to study GCSE to follow the text and highlight necessary information with the right quotes properly. It would have been much better if they had used the original text rather than re-telling it in "simpler" English, which made the essence of the story fade as well. But overall, there were good prompt questions at the back which were useful if you were studying the book, and the "simpler" English may have made it easier for some to understand the book better too, but I wouldn't recommend using this book if you were only reading Of Mice and Men as a storybook
