This book arrived promptly. Certainly more digestible than the DSM-5 itself and very readable. Interestingly the Canadian author is not "one of those pedestrian Psychiatrists pushing pills, But instead his professional interest is unusually Borderline Personality Disorder. What a breath of fresh air because we need someone like him to be interested in this very common debilitating condition for patients and their families alike.

Required reading and a dip into reference book. Useful information. An easily explained text and helpful reference book for students and practitioners .

I would not normally say this of an academic book (usually refer to as & when the information is required) but this one I actually kept reading...it's clear, concise and extremely well written.
