An excellent range of questions covering all the key surgical topics that you would be expected to know as a medical student. Really good exam practice with detailed explanations so you are definitely learning as you go along.

Used it for year 3 end of year exams-just used the easy questions but it really helps to apply knowledge and understand the format of these types of questions. And I got 75% on the question paper (wish I'd done as well in everything else!) which I think is partly down to this book and using it to guide my revision! Highly recommend it!

Bought this book for 3rd year exams. Not using this as a key source of questions, but more to consolidate knowledge on topics I ve just revised. Nonetheless I ve still found this book frustrating and full of errors - simple things like incorrect answers that don't correlate to the explanation given. It's as if this book was rushed together and not even proof read. When they realised that that the book was terrible, they tried to cover it up by adding extra superfluous questions. Book is a joke DONT buy, plus for £20 it's basically extortion, instead stick with passmedicine, passtest, onexam and the Get Ahead series for surgery questions.

I've been using this book for finals. I'm halfway through and have thus far lost many hours looking up answers to questions I totally disagree with and are poorly explained. Some of the questions and really relevant to F1 but others are clearly just filler. Some of the questions aren't written accoring to SBA guidelines and are essentially glorified true/false questions, which are extremely tedious.
