4.0 out of 5 stars Tony Weir's A Casebook on Tort (1974), 27 April 2011
This review is from: Tort Law (Clarendon Law Series) (Paperback)
TORT LAW (Clarendon Law) SERIES
Tony Weir's Tort Law is a standard college textbook for Law students. It is concise as well as comprehensive. The chapters are laid out in such a way that a discussion follows in sequence. That made it easy to memorise and retrieve from the student's memory.

Compared with other authors this book dealt with some topics in more outstanding way than others. Take defamation for instance. Discussion of defamation: Protection of honour, reputation, and privacy etc has a number of remedies; but he provided all the remedies for practical purposes.

It was written in lucid English that made it possible to read for a long time before you can look around for law or english dictionary. It is recommended for students and practitioners of Law.
