Thermodynamics of Chemical Processes is yet another essential book in what has become nothing short of a truly excellent series of primers published by OUP. The book presents an often challenging aspect of Physical Chemistry, well laid out and clearly structured. The topic is given in concise detail yet in a very approachable manner, although the author does at times begin to get carried away with himself, as lecturers of Chemistry tend to do. The equations, often a cause of most headaches amongst students, are clearly derived and well referenced throughout the book. Either as an introductory primer or reference text, Thermodynamics of Chemical Processes is a must for all Chemistry undergraduates and at the price given, remains a definite bargain.
