This review is from: The Poems of Robert Sidney (Hardcover)
Brother to Philip Sidney, father to Mary Wroth, Robert's poems can't be compared to the excellencies of either the Astrophil and Stella (in Sir Philip Sidney: The Major Works), or Wroth's Pamphilia to Amphilanthus (in The Poems of Lady Mary Wroth), yet these sonnets are well worth reading. In some ways they 'talk back' to Philip's sequence and open a pathway for Mary's.

Croft has produced a reliable scholarly edition with good introduction and notes.
