4.0 out of 5 stars Straight to the point and very objective, 27 Oct 2010
This review is from: Twelve Examples of Illusion (Hardcover)
I am familiar with many books in which Buddhist concepts are linked to natural science and ordinary life experience. The advantage of this book: it goes straight to the point, sticking very close to the topic being discussed. Unlike other books where the complexity of the examples may confuse the reader, this one will just make reference to no more than it is needed to understand the point. Main ideas are very clear and supporting details are very little and yet sufficient. The title speaks by itself: the author develops, explains and links to ordinary life a selection of illusions contained in the tibetan tradition and offers a new approach to many things we take for granted. No conclusion is offered by the author, which gives the liberty to make up our own mind.
