This review is from: The Man Who Saved Sea Turtles: Archie Carr and the Origins of Conservation Biology (Hardcover)
I am a 50 yr old wildlife enthuisiast who first became aware of the work of Archie Carr when I was about 12 via the BBC's 'The World About Us' programme on turtles. I have always kept an eye on the latest status of turtle conservation and this book is a very pleasing read about the life and work of one of the 20th century's fgreat conservationists. I am now ordering a copy of Carr's 'So Excellent a Fishe'
