This review is from: natural English Upper-Intermediate: Student's Book (with Listening Booklet): Student's Book (with Listening Booklet) Upper-intermediate l (Paperback)
I'm currently using this book during a CELTA course, and I have found it to be a complete nightmare. The lesson organisation is all over the place and forming a lesson plan from the material is hindered by the fact that there are no less that four separate sources to go to, to complete the information. The book layout hinders photocopying (yes it IS permitted), as many illustrations cross pages. The tape scripts are dreadful, and are littered with "er" and "erm" and words like "'cos" which are not helpful at even upper-intermediate level. I suggest the authors go back to the basics and take heed of Scrivener, before bringing out another revision. I'd avoid this like the plague for now...
