4.0 out of 5 stars Great story, shame about the pictures, 27 Aug. 2001
By A Customer
This book is part of the Bookworm Starters series, and as such is written in a tiny vocabulary for elarners of English. It's a great story, nevertheless.
Apparently the author got the idea while driving down the French autoroute: what if someone hid a package under a vehicle? The result is this lively account of two young people in an HGV, trailed by villains in search of the box of drugs which has been swapped for a packet of sandwiches. It ends in a French dump, with one of the baddies getting trapped in a skip...Great stuff.
I didn't like the pictures, however. But judge for yourself.
