It's an encyclopedia. I'm not sure why I bought this, most likely by accident. I thought it was the updated edition of Healing with Whole Foods: Asian Traditions and Modern Nutrition by
Paul Pitchford writes the forward in this book, so essentially he has nothing to do with this book. I figure it will be just as costly to return this book as it is to keep it so I'll keep it. Though it does take up valuable space in my bookshelf. I try to buy books on Kindle nowadays and buy physical copies for non kindle books or ones with intricate graphs and charts. A lot of the information can be found through online sources like wikipaedia.
Our family bought the encyclopedia Britannica from a door to door salesman and thought it was a great investment many moons ago. Buying this is like buying the encyclopedia Britannica in 2012.
