My 10yr old loves these books, couldn't get him to put it down and at half the price of other books shops I'm happy too!

My just-7-year-old boy wasn't keen on reading until someone bought him Diary of a Wimpy Kid a month or so ago - now he's finished all the books in the series and has started on some other books I got him.

He also isn't normally keen on writing - but since this arrived yesterday he's spent about 3 hours filling it in. I had to take it out of his room last night so he'd go to sleep!

So it gets both thumbs up from me!

I love this book. I got it a few weeks ago and I still use it. It is very good because it's not something that you get bored of in a few days. It has got just the right amount of pages where you can write your own story. It has got funny questions, you can make your own sports team and even make your own comics! I recommend that you buy a hardcover because you might be using it a lot. I am 11 years old and it's probably the best book I've ever had.(:

I've bought two copies of this for my two nephews as both are huge bookworms and love the Wimpy Kid series. I've had a little flip through the book and it seems very good for kids to use and fill in. A fresh approach to encouraging kids to read!

Hopefully my nephews enjoy it!

Bought for my son, it has encouraged him to begin writing for himself. Quite funny with asking you about personal stuff and also asks you to draw your family. Also the boys attempts to write their own cartoon story was cool.

It is not designed to not write feelings down, but to give an idea or grace of a journal. Plenty of questions to be answered in the first part of the book and the second half can be used to jot down significant events. My son has had a couple, but he still has to grasp the demand a diary requires to become a diary. He is 9, so we still have time.

My nine year old son absolutely LOVES this! It's given him lots of reading, writing and drawing practice this summer holiday and has been especially handy for rainy days. It really gets the creative juices flowing!
