This book has two pictures on the description, but the first one doesn't mach the product at all!
When I first bought this book I didn't saw the second picture (my mistake), and when saw the cover I was horrified, this sparkly, just horrible cover was in front of me. Luckily, this cover was one of those paper detachable covers, and the hard cover bellow was really nice (made of fabric, all black, with just half a dozen golden symbols on the spine). Anyway I do think they should include pictures of the real hardcover and take out the main one that has nothing to do with the reality

I found this book to be an easy read with a fast pace but I was about three-quarters through when I realised that there really was nowhere left to go with the plot. I did finish reading it but it has left no imprint in my memory and I will probably forget it within a week.

The storyline was.... interesting as were one or two of the characters whose names I have unfortunately forgotten but I was left feeling 'Is that all?' as I read the last sentence. However it made me smile (weakly) and I would recommend it to someone seriously bored with nothing better to do. Slightly cheated just about cuts it

While the book starts off in shades of James Bond, Mission Impossible, GI Jane and many other films it then takes off a whole new direction of it's own. With dwarfs, pixies, trolls and other fairy folk who appear to have been living a parallel existence. Artemis Fowl shows us Fairy People have been keeping up with us and more when it comes to modern technology. PS Don't forget to read the epilogue.

Out of all the people who have reviewed this book I wonder how many are actually kids? I know you can all read what you want but when you start to complain about the books that are written for a younger audience anyway don't you think you should move on abit???????? I enjoyed this book alot but when I get older this is not the sort of stuff I will choose to read.
