A superb series of books. Anyone wanting a permanent library edition of a favourite book would be pleased with this Penguin series.

Beautiful story about love and class and what really matters. Only down side was the cover, which was ruined by a cheap typeface.

This book is a great read, a little slow in the middle but well worth reading. If your looking for love this is the book for you.

A very slow start and a very predictable ending disappointing .I had seen the film and wanted to see if it was true to the book

Saw the film many years ago. The book does not disappoint -it gives a facinating insight to the manners of the time. Excellent!

Not sure why I had never read this book before. It is absolutely a 'comedy of manners' and thoroughly enjoyable. I loved it!

A great portrait of Italy and the deep difficulties around class in British society at the beginning of the last century.

Bit too much navel gazing in this story of upstairs-downstairs people. I gave up reading after about a third way through.
