4.0 out of 5 stars Good ideas, a really worthwhile read
I have read 1000's of books on the subject of success, law of attraction, motivation and wealth creation. I have been a business consultant, serial entrepreneur and motivational coach for a number of years. As such I have read many good and extremely poor books on motivation and willpower.

This book falls into the category of well worth reading and is a...

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a test of willpower
I really wanted to like this book. 4.0 out of 5 stars Good book, bad binding., 17 Feb 2012

Very interesting content. I'm going to follow the strategies suggested for increasing willpower-stamina, and see how that goes.

What prompts this review though is not the content, but the physical book itself. It's printed on low quality paper, and glued at the spine rather than stitched, so I'm guessing it will fall apart sooner rather than later. A bit disappointing for a hardback.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is not a 'workbook' style guide to developing greater willpower, more a discursive type of book which references earlier works and anecdotes to get the reader thinking about how they can steer themselves in the direction they want to go.

It occasionally digresses and at times requires patience, but it's genuinely interesting and thoughtful.
