I have just finished this and thought it was great. I did not want to put it down and have picked it up at every opportunity, even at the bus stop. I thought Bella was interesting, character development was generally good and, though the denouncement was forseeable, this book hit all the marks I expect from a good girlie read. The only thing I could have asked for more was further development of Philip...

A ridiculous but highly entertaining novel about a woman who gets married twice and the complications which ensue when husband number 1 re-appears in her life. Crazy, but great fun with some very witty and ironic observations. I was reading this on the ferry between Scotland and Northern Ireland and simply had to laugh out loud at the predicament in which Bella found herself; another passenger actually asked me for the title of the book as she too wanted a fun summer read.
I would certainly recommend this to anyone who wants some light, amusing fiction - great deck-chair reading!

Disappointing and daft storyline which tells an overlong story about bigamy and duplicitous behaviour . I am not sure why I finished it. Might work as a sleep aid.

As one of my favourite Adele Parks books i would highly recommend Husbands to anyone who is looking for a new Author's books to get into. If you like Chick-lit then Adele Parks takes it that one step further and give it spunk and attitude. Never a dull book is written by Ms Parks.

I personally LOVE this book and will read it over and over throughout my life.

Dont take mine or anyone else's reviews for it - See for yourself, i can guarantee you'll love it too.

I absolutely loved this book. All her books are fantastic, although I was disappointed in 'The State We're In' but that's another story!! I have read all her books and she is one of my favourite writers along with Marian Keyes and Sophie KInsella. This story is so well written and the characters so sympathetically drawn that you care about them all and want the best outcome for them. I thoroughly recommend this great book.

I do love Adele Parks books. I did enjoy this book, the style it's written in gives you everyone's views. I thought from the initial few pages that Amelie would be more of a character but she wasn't - shame.
I was just waiting and waiting for the secret to be out... it was pretty late in the book then the rest seemed rushed to end the book.
I did enjoy the book and will continue to read more of her books.

I've read a few of Adele Parks books and really enjoyed them. She has an easy -to -read style and creates characters that the reader identifies with.
I realised about half way through this book that I wouldn't be able to get the ending I hoped for, but in actual fact the ending was worse than I anticipated.
I was left wishing that Laura had made a different decision.
