I bought this book for my 4 year old daughter, who attends ballet classes. She loves this book, and also enjoys watching the programme on television. The book shows children that no matter what size you are you can dance just like Angelina. Since starting school, in September, she now attempts to read some of the book herself.
A fantastic book with lovely illustrations.

My 3 year-old daughter has just started ballet and what better tale to accompany this new experience but this wonderful picture book which is 25 years-old this year!
Angelina is a little mouse who loves to dance. She dances at home, at school and even in her dreams! Unfortunately, all this dancing gets in the way of all the other things she should be doing, like tidying up, doing her homework and being helpful at home. Angelina's parents decide it is time for her to start ballet and send her to Mademoiselle Lily's lessons. Angelina turns out to be a gifted dancer and becomes a very happy mouse and eventually a great ballerina.

What I particularly like about this story is the positive message it send about children (or mice!) being happier if they take part in some kind of physical activity. What my daughter particularly likes about it is that it is all about ballet, and that Angelina wears a pink tutu! So everybody is happy!

This book is great! I have read this book hundreds of times but I find something new from it everytime I read it. The illistrations are magical, and the basic story is completly wonderful and imaginative. If you have never read this book, please do as it won't fail to bring a smile to your face!

We love this. All the stories, beautifully read. Only downside is that I have had to listen to it in the car more than 10000 times....

I read this book to my daugther when she was three. A realistic story of the ups and downs of wanting to dance portrayed by a beautiful young mouse called Angelina. My daughter (13) is now in full time dance education, living her dream which was inspired by the never to be forgotten Angelina Ballerina!

Angelina Mousling loves to dance. Her dances cause her no end of troubles; when they make her late for school, make her crash into things, and so much more. Finally Angelina's father decides that it is time for her to take ballet lessons. This is the story of Angelina, and her path to stardom.
My ten-year-old daughter and I loved this book. The story is quite charming, with Helen Craig's illustrations adding to the book's charm. I must admit that it was a bit beneath my daughter's ability, she read through it in about 10 minutes, but she enjoyed it all the same. Therefore, my daughter and I both recommend this cute book.

Beautifully read, and with none of the irritating padding that some audio books have. It's a firm favourite with my 6 year old, and will take plenty of repeat listening. Highly recommended.
