I have been using this book religiously now every day for 4 weeks, I have reached the intermediate plus level and I can definitely see an improvement in the tone of my facial muscles, especially in my cheeks, where my cheekbones now seem lifted and more defined. My nose to mouth lines have also diminished so I am delighted and would highly recommend this book. The exercises are easy to do and take less than 10 minutes a day.

Eva Fraser is a genius! If you do the programme properly you will notice a difference. I feel so much better and my neck and chin areas are smooth and lifted. These exercises really work and I will continue forever. If you can't afford a face lift give this a go.

I have been using Eva's method for the past 4 weeks. I have a slight facial palsy from a road injury 20 years ago and wanted to improve the dragged appearance I'm noticing as I age. Although no permanent 'lift' is visible yet I have noticed one side of my face considerably lifted around my mouth following the one-sided exercises and prior to exercising the opposite side. I am on the intermediate toning section of the book and haven't begun the advanced section with resistence exercises. I can only presume, and hope, that the lifted effect I notice will become more permanent then. I'm finding it time consuming, busy working mum, but I'll stick with it and do it properly even though tempted to jump ahead. I'm inspired by the small change mentioned and aim to review again in a few months. Worth a try.

I've just written a detailed review for the DVD, but have come here because I bought this book years ago when I was sixteen/seventeen. I did one or two of the exercises didn't like the fact that there were no before/after photo's, got bored and tossed it aside! I threw it out a year or so ago as it had gone yellow from too long sitting on a window sill and the pages were loose. I wish I'd taken more care of it as I have seen a great improvement in the three months that I've been using the DVD and am seriously considering buying the book again for the more advanced exercises! The changes have been minimal to my eyelids but excellent in my cheeks and lower face/jaw line. I don't remember if there are exercises for ridding the forehead of fine lines in this book, and hopefully there will be something on lifting that same area - I can't remember. Am so glad the idea of botox is a distant memory.

At the age of 42 I started to notice subtle and typical signs of aging that started to bug me. Although I am still practically wrinke-free, I felt that deepening nose to mouth lines had started to age my face. Previously I had looked at options of having fillers, but having seen horric photos of frozen faced celebrities, and some cases of cosmetic intervention going wrong I decided against that. Prices were also a turn off, and I was afraid that I would no longer look like me.
I came across Eva Fraser's facial workout method in a newspaper article and checked it out. Having read very positive reviews, I decided to buy the book and DVD. It is still early days as I have only had the book and DVD for a month, hence only 4 stars. I have been following the exercises religiously and am noticing a freshness that wasn't there before. Last weekend a friend came to stay with me who I hadn't seen for 3 years, she told me that I looked young and fresh and that she had forgotten what amazing cheekbones I had! Although I have always had fairly prominent cheekbones, I was really surprised when she showed photos of us on her phone. My cheekbones are definitely more lifted and more prominent than before. You have to keep it up, but it is only 10 to 15 minutes of your time a day. The method is easy to follow and Eva offers lots of useful advice and tips. It is completely natural, it is logic and it makes sense that if you don't use muscles they will sag and we never use our facial muscles on a daily basis like other muscles in our bodies I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anybody. Eva is living proof of how well this method works, she looks truly fantastic. However I would have liked to have seen a before photo of her before she started the exercises herself. Thank you very much Eva, now onwards and upwards - with the muscles!, it can only get better!

I wish I had bought this years ago.

I have managed to lift my eyebrows after a week and friends are remarking on how good I look!

The double chin & jowls bit is particularly good - you have to keep it up though!

I gave up on Eva's book after a while. Although it certainly helps in muscle tone and evens skin tone I felt I needed more - - probably got hooked. The book also contains some unnecessary, in my view, and rather old fashioned make-up and excercise advice. However, I won't knock her health section, it's good. I haven't given up trying to improve my facial palsy and so moved onto flexeffect.com to Deborah Crowley's Flexeffect. It goes a step further than Eva's book. You really have to get into grabbing onto your face, bit worrying at first but I think, thanks to Eva, I was used to mucking around with my face by the time I bought the Flexeffect. Hopes this helps people make up their minds.

Although some of the exercises can be hard to master (in my case the cheek lifting), I am beginning to think that this may just work. I have been doing the basic exercises for about 3 weeks and I may be deluding myself, but I think I do look a little different in that my face looks a little smoother and toned. I especially like the chapter on facial massage which is relaxing.

On the more negative side, I do worry will I do any damage or imbalance to my face if I dont do the exercises just right.

I am a convert to the Facial workout and Evas book explains clearly what you need to do and the different stages and makes alot of sense, the exercises can be done anywhere and built into your daily routine. My friend recently met Eva Fraser at a Health Exhibition and said she looked amazing, and all down to keeping her face worked out.
