This review is from: Spells of Enchantment (Paperback)
Although there could be a vigorous debate on the selection of the tales - Jack Zipes tries hard to include a representative sample of fairy tales - many of which he has translated himself. The introduction is excellent, though I would have liked to see some mention of Andrew Lang. A good introduction to this genre.

This review is from: Spells of Enchantment (Paperback)
This book is has stories for any taste. It has almost nonsensical stories to tales that make you weep with joy. Some of these stories are especially good read aloud. If you like fantasy, you will probably discover a new favorite author.
