This is a great book for learning about JSF.

It's written in a style very similar to the excellent Core Java books (also co-authored by Cay Horstmann and also highly recommended) that allows you to almost skim read through the material at first to get a feel for the new ideas and concepts while also providing lots of practical examples and advice that then makes the book indespensible as a reference when developing your own applications.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great JSF book, 28 Aug. 2010
This review is from: Core JavaServer Faces (Sun Core Series) (Paperback)
An excellent introduction to JSF that covers all the different aspects of this framework. Only let down is that the examples are given in full when snippets would probably be better suited with the remainder located on a cd or online.
