4.0 out of 5 stars Collection of research papers tailored for purpose of book, 3 Dec. 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Issues in Management Accounting (Textbook Binding)
The book is both inspiring and thought provoking in its subjectivity. Provides many different perspectives with which to view the role of accountancy, in particular managment accounting. One could say the book is intersting, if for nothing other than academic study. The book is complicated to read with much reference to working research papers although serves well alone, as does briefly explain the points contained in the papers mentioned. All in all a fullfilling book giving one a firm understanding of the issues so that they might particapate in the debate concerning measuring the advancement of research in management accounting by reference to much literature from diversified subjects such as philosophy, sociology and pyschology.
