Great big thick book, full of step by step instructions to complete anything and everything to do with ECDL. Found it valuable to help me deliver ECDL lessons, as well as giving the students the diversity of different levels. Since using this book, I have recommended it to many students who wish to study ECDL. Good Value, Excellent Instructions, Brillant Source of Information. Well worth the money.

I originally bought the Angela Bessant ECDL book, which was recommended by my employer (who paid for my distance learning ECDL CD) but whilst it was easy to read as it is printed in colour and had some good summary/shortcut pages, I did not find it explained some of the modules very well despite being a graduate. I saw this book 'ECDL4: The complete coursebook for Office XP')whilst browsing in Smith's and thought it looked more promising. Despite being printed in black and white, I found it expained the modules well and I completed my ECDL in October 2007. I would strongly recommend this book.

The definitive text book for all students of the ECDL course. Clear, easy-to-understand and exhaustive, you can't fail to pass with this book.

I bought this book to help my teenage daughter with the ECDL. She passed the first module with a score of 97% (the pass mark is 76%) and is currently using the book as she works through the remaining six modules. This is an excellent book which is very clear and easy to understand. Highly recommended.

After buying a few beginner computer books and not fully understanding, I thought I would try this book as I know the ECDL is a well recognised qualification. It starts you off with a short history of computers and takes you at an easy pace to take in all the computer jargon etc. Then you actually start using the computer and everthing becomes clear. I would thoroughly recommend this book as it is the only one that I have found that makes sense to me as a complete beginner. After each module there are a few questions to test your progress.

I've done the basic course but wanted something to help build on those skills and to act as reference material. I found exactly what I was looking for.
