5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent
This text definitely stands out from many other texts on forensic psychology, as although it contains all the ususal, plus a lot more, it discusses all the issues in a very real and practical way, rather than just quoting the facts and theories. It is a very accessible read, but certainly does not lack any depth. Any student studying or interested in this field (and...

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Basic
It is so basic and in so much unnecessary detail that it hurts to read at times. Not satisfied whatsoever. A lot of grammatical errors in there too. Good read for "I'll just read anything" type of people

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent introductory text, 4 May 2003

I'm a first year student taking forensic psychology and have found this book to be a good introduction into all aspects of the subject of forensic psychology from police procedures to criminal typologies. Although the book does not go into depth I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to get an overview of the field of forensic psychology and the scope of the discipline. It is very clearly written and easily accessible with lots of up to date information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!, 25 Oct. 2010
This review is from: Forensic and Criminal Psychology (Paperback)
This book has a brilliant scope and goes into enough detail to get a good idea of each section and unlike other books does not go into too much detail (as these often end up conradicting themselves). Excellent writer and easy to read. Would definitely recommend for anyone doing a psychology and law type module or anyone simply interested in this area.

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Forensic and Criminal Psychology (Paperback)
It is helpful as it is exactly what I propose to do in as my career in the future and has a lot of information as to what a forensic analyst does and focuses on psychology as well... which is also good for my future career
