4.0 out of 5 stars Good basic material
Essential reading for any new rider. Information presented clearly and precisely. A little basic for the more experienced rider.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK but you'll know most of it
This is an OK guide to motorbiking. It does repeat itself a lot and there's not a lot of information that someone who has done compulsory basic training (CBT) and any other bike training will not already know. It might just be the difference between a pass and a fail at mod 1 and mod 2 due to a couple of good tips and sensible advice so it's worth a read but you're not...

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant guide for beginner bikers!, 3 Nov. 2011

A very clear and concise guide which appears to cover all the basics of motorcycling in a detailed but easily-digested manner - ideal for new riders(like myself)but I imagine some experienced riders may find it a little too basic and self-explanatory for their liking. That said,as a refresher for bikers returning after a long break,I think it is definitely worth a flick through the pages.

Either way,as I am reviewing this from the perspective of a new rider,I think it deserves 5 stars.

Ride safe everyone ;)

Want to pass your bike test, then this is a must. This book is not your instructor, but it will give you a good insight as to what is expected of you.

It is a good book that is detailed enough to be confident on a motorbike. It is good value for money and would recommend it.

I am an experienced driver but novice motorcyclist.

I found this book very clearly laid out, and full of useful information, without going into excessive detail. The diagrams are good, and relate well to the text.

Thoroughly recommended.

Not a lot to say about this product other than it does what it says and if you learn it inside out you will be a more careful and considerate rider. My teenager passed their test so can only recommend.
