This review is from: Scotland B.C.: Introduction to the Prehistoric Houses, Tombs, Ceremonial Monuments and Fortifications in the Care of the Secretary of State for Scotland (Historic Buildings and Monuments) (Paperback)
Anna Ritchie provides a brief introduction to a number of Scotland's prehistoric treasures - Jarlshof, Skara Brae, the Shetland Brochs, Cairn Holy standing stones, etc. Intelligent, well-researched introduction, excellent illustrations, and a first class primer for anyone wanting to understand more about Scotland's pre-history.
