I came to the conclusion the Sam Jones is a versatile kinda girl! I did enjoy this book mainly because I was thinking all the time as to who committed the crime. There are so many different aspects of this book, the characters, the places, her private life.... This book is a nice read.

My judgement of Dead White Female is biased by the fact that I only recently was able to get hold of it, having read others in the series before it. It helps fill in some info about Sam, but I admit that I found it less interesting than Too Many Blondes or The Strawberry Tattoo. My judgement of Dead White Female is biased by the fact that I only recently was able to get hold of it, having read others in the series before it. It helps fill in some info about Sam, but I admit that I found it less interesting than Too Many Blondes or The Strawberry Tattoo. I enjoy the main character, who is thoroughly modern and all the more enjoyable because of her apparent weaknesses: men, alcohol and drugs!
