4.0 out of 5 stars Daily cheer-u-ups!
I really enjoyed Robin Norwood's first book "Women Who Love Too Much." Infact, I read it almost nonstop after the first chapter. Her second book on loving too much, "Daily Meditations..." is a great book, depending on what you are looking for. I wanted a followup to the first book. Not what I thought. Did not help in anyway. Mostly very short and repetitive meditations. Not worth buying in my opinion.

I really enjoyed Robin Norwood's first book "Women Who Love Too Much." Infact, I read it almost nonstop after the first chapter. Her second book on loving too much, "Daily Meditations..." is a great book, depending on what you are looking for. I wanted a followup to the first book. I enjoyed this book because it has a calendar affect. Each day you are given a phrase or thought to help you improve. The problem is that women who love too much want to change quickly and one saying a day is not enough. If you are looking for a book to remind you of how to make your shortcomings in relationships disappear by daily help, this is yours. However, if you want a direct change in your life I reccomend "Women Who Love Too Much" or especially "How to love him without losing you...How to stop Disappearing." Both of these wonderful books are available on Amazon used and new.

When I saw the title I was a bit thrown off. It sounds like the woman would be obsessive, but it is nothing like that. Do you put off things you would like to do just to be with your other half? Do you mother them too much? Are you constantly worried about what they are thinking or doing? This book DOES explain why. I read this book in three days. I couldn't believe how much I learned from it. Although, you can't completely change by having this book, you learn the steps to take to get better and to stop losing yourself in relationships. Another great companion to this book is, "How to love him without losing you" These two books are the best out there for this subject. Buy them, even if it is your last £10.00, it will help you understand yourself more. For men and women, don't let the title fool you.

I would highly recommend this book as an aid to recovering from loving too much. I try to read a page a day as it recommends, and it is very useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars A real eye-opener, 31 Oct 2011
This review is from: Daily Meditations For Women Who Love Too Much (Paperback)
This book had a powerful effect on me. I have been doing hard work and lots of research about how I could improve my life and my relationship -I wasn't far from the path of understanding a lot about myself but and this book was an enormous AHA! moment for me and it DID tremendously transformed my current relationship and my understanding of love. I also came across with the book at the right time so I could read it with open-minded curiosity and with the right attitude.
It is written with very straight forward manners without any "sugar-coating" yet there's utter knowledge and compassion behind the author's words. Some could take it "harsh" to read but that is the point. If you take it too drastic to read this book then THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU.
Hope it helps you as much as it did for me.
Thank you for Robin Worwood for her knowledge and for putting it into words.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is so true, it hurts, 2 July 2009
This review is from: Daily Meditations For Women Who Love Too Much (Paperback)
I also bought the book Women who love too much, but this particular book is un-putdownable. I virtually folded back every page of this book which I read in an hour! You think from the title is's about having hundreds of affairs, but in my case I was deserted by my two husbands, and am still reeling from the shock of the last betrayal. After a while, you just CRAVE company, and innocent beginnings seem to end up as something more. BUT the problem is that because I am still addicted to my husband, any relationship I find now is tainted by that fact. This book is EXCELLENT because every day it just reminds you that it is ok to be you, that you deserve to be happy and don't need a man to do it. I need to read this every day and remind myself that it is true. The illustrations are wonderful too, created by a man! but wonderfully empathic. BUY THIS BOOK

Excellent book as an addendum to the Women who love too much original book. This is an excellent tool for daily meditation and has been extremely helpful to me. One criticism why is it called Women who love too much. I know a lot of men who would benefit from the philosophy within this book.
