4.0 out of 5 stars A Definite Economics Text for Undergraduates
This book covers a wide range of Economic Theory. It is a very good core text book for undergraduates or students with no prior knowledge in the field of Economics. It is a "must" for students doing units such as Micro Economics,Macro Economics and Monetary Economics since these topics are covered in depth. It is also useful as a reference for topics such as Welfare...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a good book
I bought this book for one of my first Economic modules at University, and have hardly used it ever. Topics are not covered in a logical manner and the book includes too many definitions and is very theoretic, including very few examples of how Economics can be applied in the real world, which I find is essential for students studying Economics for the first time. 4.0 out of 5 stars A Definite Economics Text for Undergraduates, 6 Oct. 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Economics, 7th Ed. (Paperback)
This book covers a wide range of Economic Theory. It is a very good core text book for undergraduates or students with no prior knowledge in the field of Economics. It is a "must" for students doing units such as Micro Economics,Macro Economics and Monetary Economics since these topics are covered in depth. It is also useful as a reference for topics such as Welfare Economics, Banking, International Trade, and Economic Development . The concepts are explained clearly and there is a summary at the end of each chapter which emphasizes the main points of the chapter. This text book is very popular among undergraduates due to the friendly -user language, the structure, and the number of areas being covered. I would definitely recommend this text book for anyone who is interested in Economics.
