I can speak and write Welsh to some extent already, but bought this book to go alongside the OU course I'm starting in September. It purports to be 'designed flexibly so you can dip in and out for reference or work through it to build your knowledge'. It has no index at the back only a contents list at the front, so it is not possible to use it as a reference book.
To me it doesn't teach in a structured, graded, way so it's really hard to follow. I can't imagine how anyone who is at the beginning of their learning journey would cope with this book, I only hope it doesn't put anyone off of learning this wonderful language.
The grammar section at the front of my Welsh Learners Dictionary (Heini Gruffudd) is much more informative.
I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Extremely useful grammar aid, which builds on basic knowledge. As a Welsh tutor for adults, I would recommend this book to all my pupils at levels, Entry, Foundation and Intermediate.
