4.0 out of 5 stars People in my course loved it, but..., 13 Oct 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I prefer a more comprehensive book, as this one:
- Talks a lot about very-very-very basic concepts in a very verbose way while ...
- Explains a complicated concept in a rush, making you to kinda learn by heart instead of fully understanding this kind of concept.
- Has some typos.

If you have an exam coming in two days and you need to study in a rush, it has a faster learning curve than a more comprehensive book and you'll know something quite fast, but if you want to understand more about the subject you should get another book.

I know this is a beginner's book and it should only present basic concepts but half of the concepts presented are described too verbose while the other half are left in a rush.

Good side: has tons of exercises with answers.
