My perception before receiving this book is that it might be hard to understand. Not being a doctor, many medical books are way above my understanding. On the contrary, this one is excellent and the information it holds is crucial to my academic study.
I wish Hans Selye was still alive today, I would have loved to chat with him. He's a very interesting character.

I bought this book for the sake of a reference in an essay at uni. It's not a bad book, but possibly of more relevance to someone doing more in depth reading on the topic rather than forcing a weak reference out of it.
