The information in this book is amazing and the research for it must have taken a very long time. I was a bit disappointed in the fact the correspondences are not uniformally added to each entry throughout. But that could be because there just was not the information available. It would have been nice to have a bit more life to the book in terms of pictures. It covers a phenomenal range of known and much lesser known beings. A very useful reference book and addition to your personal magick library.

The introduction did have some interesting fact. I bought this book as a kindle which makes locating some things difficult, especially the A-Zsection. It would have been better to have allocated a different chapter for each letter, making finding entries so much quicker.

Some of the advice given was a bit wacky, especially setting up altars. Might appeal to committed pagans and those of an animistic persuasion.

This book is a must if you are thinking of writing a few supernatural short stories. It is very detailed and worth the money.

This is a good book. over 1000 pages filled with info on lots of different spirits!
the first pages is like a guide on how to connect and get a long with spirits, what to expect,
some of the dangers ect. And then the big great encyclopedia :)

I would like some more info on how to avoid dangers,
this is not at game, it can be dangerous if you dont know how to protect yourself from the negative BEFORE contacting anything!!
better safe than sorry..

While not perfect this book is an excellent starting place if you are trying to learn more about a particular spirit or deity. The content is extensive, though not exhaustive.
I would suggest buying to hard copy rather than the kindle edition as navigating the kindle version is very difficult.

I love the cover, love it.
I especially like that this book has a clear managed approach to facts.
It gives you a list that you can easily skim, if you (like me) just want to use it for the random input in short stories - or roleplay.
And it's heavy, so you can always subdue any non-believers with it. Brilliant!

A fascinating book that includes many Gods and Goddesses too. The main downside is that some entries are far shorter than others due to lack of information on the individual. The second is that the kindle version doesn't have an A-Z listing for each spirit. It would make it far easier to find a specific entry.

over a thousand references of spirits and dieties , many obscure , making this a particularly valuable and well researched book.
the first section is a book in itself about 100 pages of serious spirit evocation and references. the back has a linked reference of everyday needs and wishes and what spirit is associated. the thick glossed hardback book is large and beautiful with fairy illustration. This is a must have magicians or witch reference book . Please write another on more research around spirits ..

This arrived recently and I have the feeling I will be dipping into it frequently over the summer or maybe sitting down and reading it from cover to cover. Packed full of interesting lore, well worth the money!
