5.0 out of 5 stars Very empowering!!!
Loved this book--loved it! It's not your average every day sex guide--it's more fun than that and never dry, as some tend to be. I liked that, while it did have some tips and how-tos, it wasn't over-ladden with them. Any girl should get a lot of good info out of this one. A definte recommend, along with Good Sex: A Woman's Guide to Losing Inhibition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Friendly and insightful, 23 Feb. 2006

I would highly reccommend this book (which makes a brilliant companion to 'she comes first') for those seeking some insight into sexuality and the male mind . It's not purely focused on 'how to' or numerous sex positions, although there are plenty of tips and ideas to try out, instead this book for me was about creating and maintaining a sexual connection- without any weird tantric techniques . Issues such as loss of desire and boredom are addressed but the focus is very much on the whole person and the couple, rather than just learning new techniques. Women are fully encouraged to take control of their pleasure and in doing so steer their man away from the male tendency to focus on penetration and a race towards orgasm and instead learn how to accept pleasure, to let go and follow the more female friendly arc of desire.

A really useful book, not silly nor patronising. Great for reawakening your sex life.

2.0 out of 5 stars Boring. Get to the Point, 11 Sept. 2010
This review is from: Passionista: The Empowered Woman's Guide to Pleasuring a Man (Kerner) (Paperback)
Yawn! This is for Couples not singles. And besides - get to the good part! Even the author knows it boring as he writes a caveat upfront that you can skip to the good part but you will miss out on his psycho mumbo jumbo. Hmmm that is a bit harsh but I was expecting more. Next time I will just buy the video :)
