5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read, 12 Jun. 2010

This review is from: The Canterbury Papers (Paperback)
I bought this book as I am interested in anything involving Eleanor of Aquitaine and I thought it would be interesting to read about Alais of France, albeit fictional. I found the story gripping and couldn't wait to turn the next page to find out what happened next. The story moved on at a good pace and the historical atmosphere was very well created. A good adventure/mystery story too. I have already passed the book on to a colleague at work and would highly recommend it.

The only criticism I have is that it has been reissued as "The Lost Letters of Aquitaine" and this may lead someone to buying that too only to find out they are the same book. Why do publishers do this?
