This is one of those cookery books where you can actually use the recipes. Everyday ingredients fairly easy to make and the ones I have tried so far are very good.

Very Nigel. Recipes contain what to do, with suggestions of what can be altered, changed, swapped etc.

Very disappointed . Not for everyday cooking. Would have returned it but had disposed of pocketing.

Excellent book, but I thought the cloth bound edition would be on a firmer base, like a hardback.

Nigel Slater has the knack of making even the humble bacon sandwich sound like a gourmet meal.
