Mr. Slater's recipes are extremely good for people who do not like cooking (but have to do so, regardless .)

My kind of recipe book easy to read and not long lists of ingredients that put you off before you've, began

I like Nigel Slater as he is more down to earth than the likes of Heston Blumenthal and his snail porridge!

I like his approach to cookery but I find that I do not always have the right ingredients to imitate him

Bought for a son , I found it was quite an unexpectedly heavy weighted book, fortunately not being posted. However the recipes looked interesting and tempting to try.

This is one of those cookery books where you can actually use the recipes. Everyday ingredients fairly easy to make and the ones I have tried so far are very good.
