5.0 out of 5 stars Not the same as other Chefs
These recipes really do work. My family have been cooking
Asian food for 15 years, and over that time, have accumulated
many Chinese cook books. There are no silly recipes in here.
Just quick and easy. The Chow Mein was plain sailing. I had
never seen a version of sweet n sour cooked like the
recipe, but it was so tasty. I like the way Ching...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good investment
I love the layout of this cookbook and the beautiful pictures really make you want to try the dishes. The only problem I had was that some of the ingredients are a little difficult to find and I would have liked suggestions to for non-alcoholic alternatives for some of the ingredients. Overall - a good buy.

This is by far the worst cookery book I have ever owned. What a con! Doesn't even tell you how to cook the various types of rice. Each recipe Just a load of ingredients slung together. Rubbish.

God, I love that Chinese girl so much...I watched the first programme in the series and she was so damned hot I immediately ordered a takeaway. Suppose that defeated the object... oh well.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for me, 26 Sep 2009
This review is from: Chinese Food Made Easy (Hardcover)
Lovely book but I am sorry, in no way is it simple - huge long lists of ingredients. Have never used it, which I find really disappointing. Lots of nice recipes, but I would certainly not describe it as 'Chinese food made easy'.
If you are looking for an easy way of cooking chinese food without having to trawl through supermarkets buying lots of ingredients for each dish - don't buy this book it will end up on your shelf to be looked through occasionally but never used.
