I found this book accidentally in our polish auction service and decided to buy it, although my english is not perfect. The description written by the seller got my interest but never in my worst nightmares I expected to find out what that little boy has been through.
What can I say - it is a breathtaking, heart-wrenching story, the more so that its's all true. It was hard to rate this book here, on amazon, because the option "I loved it" just didn't seem right - how can one "love" so terrifying story??? But I had no other choice. I read that cover to cover and was completely devastated. I felt so sorry for this little boy, for his stolen childhood and his lost trust. I just wanted to scream. I can't find the words to express my anger at his so-called father. This book changed something in me, although it was very hard to read. But there was hope at the end and I think every Survivor should read it and every parent of course. Here, in my country, such a problem as abusing children is often hidden, people still don't know how to talk to their children about some things that can be very important, they often don't know how to protect them. It looks like abusing doesn't happen here.
I wish this book was translated.
