I heart Think Pink, 10 Feb 2007
I didn't think it was actually possible to love a book this much!
I love how you can dip in and out of it, it's like a journal, a life guide and a story all in one! The leading lady, Lola Love and her gal pals the Pink Ladies are so cool, wish they were my friends!
The book is a great guide for anyone who feels under pressure about their body, want to make new friends, want help understanding boys or help planning your future. Did I say how much I love this book?! just love how it looks, I love the characters, I love how I smile every time I read it and I love how thinking pink is my new favourite thing to do - can't wait for the second book!

Where was this book when I was an arkward teenager, trying to grow up and feeling more like a square peg in a round hole? I loved it, even if I am well over the age of when this book would really apply to me.
I laughed, I wanted to cry, I felt as if I knew Lola and her friends. This book should be in all schools and all teenage girls should be made to read it!
To quote Lola, this book is as good as "going to the zoo-those monkeys with the l'il pinks bums can never fail to make me laugh, not never!"
Go out and buy it, NOW!

Bought this for a young lady in my family who had been going through a tough time. Grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, etc., if you are stuck for a present for a teenage girl, they will thank you for this for the rest of their lifetime! Remember all those self-improvement courses of the 90's? Adapted for the age group, and the age, this utilises some of the same lines, but goes so much further. It can really improve self-image, self-confidence and perhaps most importantly self-esteem. Cannot praise the author enough, and I am so glad that we have found this book. Thoroughly recommended.

Think Pink is absolutley fantastic. I know Think Pink's author personally, know to me as Lil. She is totally cool and her personality shines through in this book. She is a real inspiration for young people like me. She makes you believe that you can achieve your dreams. Keep being cool Lil. Can't wait for the next installment which will be out in the summer.
