4.0 out of 5 stars Authentic Indian Cuisine at its best
There has been a flood of Indian cookery books, but this one is the jewel in the crown. 2.0 out of 5 stars More style than substance
I bought this book not quite sure what to expect - but was prepared to take the risk
Its high on brightly coloured photographs and an eye catching layout
It is rather short of sensible practical recipes
You can do better else where - on either easy to prepare or authentic cuisine

There has been a flood of Indian cookery books, but this one is the jewel in the crown. Simplicity, authenticity and a love of food have all been combined to leave the reader eager to take the plunge and enter the world of spices and aromas that give Indian cookery its charm and excitement. Various regions of India have been included in this beautifully presented book, where photographs take you on a tour of India as well as its cuisine. Any Indophile will smile at the images....so real and so tempting!
