I was given this machine for Christmas, and it worked ok the 1st try. With each use however, I found the widest setting, would jam & click, then one roller woudlnt work. I had to use a rolling pin to flatten the dough, & even then, it jammed and needed the handle rocking back & forth to get it through.
Once thinner, the narrower settings worked ok on the initial uses, but by the 4th attempt at using the machine, not only was it jamming on the widest setting, but also number 2 and 3.
The end of the rollers are not flush with the end of the machine, & collected bits of dough. If not cleaned out, these harden & make the machine worse. I meticulously cleaned the machine as directed on each use, with no water, but with a soft brush, but this didnt help.
When putting dough through, it often come out with something black along the edges which I assume is machine oil???
It comes with a fettucine/spagetti attachment. The fettucine one didnt seem sharp enough, & often snagged the dough or didnt cut at all, despite it being well floured.
I have since bought an imperia brand and highly recommend. I have made the pasta in the same way & not had the problems I had with the kitchen craft brand, which I wouldnt bother giving to anyone.
